Life Is Temporary

A wise believer enjoys the lawful blessings of this world but never becomes so attached to them that they forget the Hereafter.
The Best Preparation Is Consistent Worship
Preparing for the meeting with Allah does not require extraordinary acts that only a few people can perform.
It begins with consistency.
Praying the five daily prayers on time.
Reciting the Qur’an regularly.
Being truthful in speech.
Fulfilling trusts and promises.
Showing kindness to parents, spouses, children, and neighbours.
Seeking forgiveness after committing sins.
These seemingly ordinary actions become extraordinary when they are done sincerely for Allah.
Do Not Be Deceived by Good Health
Many people postpone acts of worship because they assume they have many years ahead of them.
They plan to repent after retirement.
They intend to learn the Qur’an “when life becomes less busy.”
They hope to become more religious after achieving certain worldly goals.
The reality is that death is not linked to age, wealth, or status.
Every day reminds us that people of all backgrounds leave this world unexpectedly.
The believer therefore lives with hope in Allah’s mercy while remaining prepared to meet Him at any time.
Leave Behind a Good Legacy
When our lives come to an end, people will remember us for our actions and our character.
Did we benefit others?
Did we speak kindly?
Did we help those in need?
Did we raise righteous children?
Did we leave behind beneficial knowledge?
Did we encourage others to obey Allah?
A good legacy continues to earn reward even after a person has left this world.
Every Muslim should strive to leave something behind that continues to benefit others.
Evaluate Yourself Before You Are Evaluated
One of the habits of the righteous is regularly holding themselves accountable.
At the end of each day, ask yourself:
Did I perform my prayers properly?
Did I wrong anyone today?
Did I remember Allah often?
Did I use my time wisely?
If today were my last day, would I be satisfied with how I spent it?
These questions help us identify areas that need improvement before it is too late.
Hope and Fear Must Remain Together
A believer lives between hope and fear.
We hope in Allah’s immense mercy, knowing that He forgives those who sincerely repent.
At the same time, we fear becoming careless, allowing sins to accumulate without seeking forgiveness.
This balance keeps the heart humble, sincere, and constantly turning back to Allah.
Begin Preparing Today
No one knows how much time remains.
The best moment to improve your relationship with Allah is not next month or next year—it is today.
Increase your prayers.
Read more Qur’an.
Repair broken relationships.
Give charity.
Seek forgiveness frequently.
Perform good deeds while you still have the opportunity.
Every sincere step towards Allah is welcomed by Him.
The Greatest Success
On the Day we stand before Allah, our wealth, titles, and achievements will no longer matter.
What will matter is our faith, our sincerity, and the deeds we carried with us.
