SPIRITUAL DIGEST: RAMADAN DAY 14, YA ALLAH, KEEP OUR HEARTS FIRM
Qur’an Reflection Surah Aal-Imran (3:8)
Qur’an
“Rabbanaa laa tuzigh quloobanaa ba’da idh hadaitanaa wahab lanaa min ladunka rahmatan innaka antal Wahhaab.”
Meaning:
“Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Bestower.”
Reflection
Guidance is a gift. But staying firm upon it is another gift entirely.
As Ramadan progresses, we must not only seek hidayah we must beg Allah to preserve it in our hearts. The world is full of distractions, doubts, temptations, and subtle shifts that can slowly pull a person away. That is why this powerful du’a teaches us humility:
- Ya Allah, You guided us — keep us guided.
- Ya Allah, You brought us close — don’t let us drift away.
- Ya Allah, grant us special mercy that keeps our hearts steady.
True success is not just starting strong in Ramadan…
It is finishing strong and remaining consistent after Ramadan.
Today’s Reminder
Check your heart.
Are you doing things for Allah alone?
Are you protecting your iman as much as you protect your reputation?
Ask Allah today sincerely to make your heart firm upon truth.
