COMPLETE LIST OF HAJJ DUAS (ARABIC, TRANSLATION AND TRANSLITERATION)

Making du’a is one of the greatest acts of worship during Hajj. Every moment of Hajj is an opportunity to call upon Allah, seek forgiveness, and ask for both dunya and akhirah.

There is no restriction on what you can ask for. You can make du’a in your own language, from your heart. However, there are authentic supplications taught by the Prophet ﷺ that are especially recommended during Hajj.

Below is a carefully selected list of essential du’as for different stages of Hajj.

TALBIYAH (RECITED FREQUENTLY IN IHRAM)

Transliteration:

Translation:
Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Surely all praise, blessings, and dominion belong to You. You have no partner.

DU’A WHEN SEEING THE KAABA

Transliteration:
Allahumma zid hadha al-bayta tashrifan wa ta‘dhiman wa takriman wa mahaba, wa zid man sharrafahu wa karramahu mimman hajjahu awi‘tamara tashrifan wa takriman wa ta‘dhiman wa birra.

O Allah, increase this House in honor, respect, dignity, and awe, and increase those who honor and respect it among those who perform Hajj or Umrah in honor, respect, dignity, and righteousness.

DU’A BETWEEN THE YAMANI CORNER AND THE BLACK STONE

Transliteration:
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah wa fil-akhirati hasanah wa qina ‘adhaban-nar.

Translation:
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

DU’A ON THE DAY OF ARAFAH

The best du’a is what is said on the Day of Arafah.

Transliteration:

Translation:
There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs all dominion and praise, and He has power over all things.

DU’A AT SAFA AND MARWAH

Transliteration:
Inna as-Safa wal-Marwah min sha‘a’irillah.

Translation:
Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah.

You can then make any personal du’a while facing the Kaaba.

GENERAL DU’A FOR FORGIVENESS

O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.

DU’A FOR EASE AND ACCEPTANCE

Transliteration:

Translation:
O Allah, make it easy and do not make it difficult, and complete it with goodness.

FINAL ADVICE ON DU’A DURING HAJJ

Do not limit yourself to memorized du’as only. Speak to Allah sincerely in your own language. Ask for everything: forgiveness, guidance, provision, Jannah, and protection from Hellfire.

The most powerful du’a is the one that comes from a sincere heart.

Use every moment, especially on Arafah, wisely. That is the day when Allah frees the most people from the Fire.

May Allah accept all your du’as, forgive your sins, and grant you a Hajj that is accepted. Ameen.
