MAKKAH — In a profound display of faith, unity, and devotion, more than 1.6 million pilgrims from around the world have successfully performed Hajj 2025 (1446 AH).

This annual pilgrimage, one of the five pillars of Islam, brought together Muslims from every corner of the globe to the holy city of Makkah.

The peak of the pilgrimage occurred on the Day of Arafah, as millions stood on the sacred plains of Arafah in deep prayer and reflection, seeking Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.

The Day of Arafah, considered the most important day of Hajj, holds immense spiritual significance — a day when sins are forgiven and supplications are accepted.

Saudi authorities reported a smooth and well-organized pilgrimage season, emphasizing health, safety, and ease of movement for all pilgrims.

The use of advanced technology and crowd management systems helped facilitate the rituals despite the massive turnout.

This year’s Hajj not only marks a return to pre-pandemic pilgrimage numbers but also highlights the enduring power of faith to unite hearts across nations, languages, and cultures.

As the pilgrims complete their rites with the celebration of Eid al-Adha, the global Muslim community shares in their spiritual joy and renewal.
