HAJJ 2024: ANOTHER KEBBI PILGRIM DIES IN MAKKAH

The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the death of another pilgrim in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The disclosure was made in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday by Kebbi Hajj 2024 Media Team,

According to the statement, the Executive Chairman of the board, Alhaji Faruku Aliyu-Enabo, made the disclosure in Makkah on Sunday.

Aliyu-Enabo, who gave the name of the deceased as Abubakar Abdullahi from Gulma in Argungu Local Government Area of the state, also said that the deceased died after a brief illness.

He said Governor Nasir Idris had expressed shock over the death and prayed to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

“The governor also urged the immediate family of the deceased, friends and Kebbi pilgrims to take heart and accept the will of God Almighty in good faith,” he added..

The chairman noted that the deceased had since been buried according to Islamic rites after his funeral prayer at Masjid Al-Ihram (Ka’aba) on Friday.
On May 27, 2024, the Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Board announced the death of Tawalkatu Busare Alako, from the Jega Local Government Area of the state.

Aliyu-Enabo told newsmen that he died after a brief illness.

Additionally, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, a Lagos pilgrim, Oloshogbo Idris, died in Makkah.

He was reported to have died while eating, a few minutes after returning from the circumambulation of the Holy Kaaba in Makkah.
