The first batch of 3sixtyislam pilgrims from Lagos State led by Alhaji Leke Yusuf, CEO 3sixtyislam, have arrived safely in Medina, Saudi Arabia, to perform this year’s holy pilgrimage.

After departing Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Tuesday night, the first batch of the pilgrims who had stopover in Doha, landed at Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Airport on Thursday at midnight via Qatar Airways.

Confirming the arrival of the pilgrims to our correspondent via phone call, the CEO 3sixtyislam, Alhaji Leke Yusuf, said, “Alhamdulillah! the first batch of our pilgrims have arrived safely in Medina, Saudi Arabia. We’ve successfully checked-in to our respective rooms at Al Ansar Golden Tulip Hotel in Medinah.

The CEO added, “We’ll use this morning to first rest, while we await other members of the group to arrive and join us before we commence our activities.

“We want to express our gratitude to Allah for a safe journey, and we pray that other members gets here safely too, he said.”

Yusuf advised the pilgrims to keep in mind and utilise the information acquired from the sensitisation programmes organised for them prior to their departure, imploring them to always keep their hotel cards with them at all times, and obey the rules and regulations throughout their stay in the holy land.

Reacting, one of the pilgrims, said the journey from MMIA in Lagos to Medina was flawless, commending 3sixtyislam for their diligence.
