The exercise holding in all thirty six states of the federation including the Federal Capital Territory commenced on March 10 and was supposed to end on March 30, lasting for three weeks.

However, this morning, the youth corps members were woken to a rude shock as the authorities at the orientation camps told them that the National headquarters have directed the immediate discontinuation of the orientation exercise.

A short statement from the Minister for Youth and Sports Development said the move is a precautionary measure to check the spread of COVID19.
