Part of Allah’s Rahma is providing for us shelter over our head to spend the night after a long day. Not everyone has a roof over their head which those that have should be grateful for.
It will be an act of showing gratitude and putting our trust in Allah that we put our house in Allah’s care when we are away.
So, the prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, taught us the prayer below to say when leaving our houses.
بِسْمِ اللهِ ، تَوَكَّلْـتُ عَلى اللهِ وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُـوَّةَ إِلاّ بِالله
Bismillahi, Tawakaltu Alla Lllah la Hawla Wala Quwatta Illa Bi llah
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no mighty nor power except with Allah.
The transliteration of the prayer tells us that it is only Allah that can help safeguard the house in our absence and by putting our trust in Him we are sure all will be fine till we return back home
