Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما was one of the young companions who grew up around the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
He was known for his strong attachment to the Sunnah and his careful effort to follow the example of the Prophet ﷺ.

But the real question is:
Are we practising what we learn?
Knowing that Salah is important is not enough if we continually abandon it.
Knowing that backbiting is haram is not enough if we continue gossiping.
Knowing that kindness is part of Islam is not enough if we treat people badly.
WHAT CAN TODAY’S YOUTH LEARN?
1. Love the Sunnah.
Learn how the Prophet ﷺ lived and try to bring his teachings into your daily life.
2. Turn knowledge into action.
Don’t just save Islamic reminders. Practise them.
3. Be consistent.
You don’t have to change everything overnight. Start with small deeds and remain consistent.
4. Make the Prophet ﷺ your role model.
The world gives young people countless celebrities and influencers to imitate. But the best example for a Muslim is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
ASK YOURSELF
When you learn something new about Islam, what do you do with that knowledge?
Do you simply like the post and scroll away?
Or do you allow it to change something in your life?
