SPIRITUAL DIGEST: RAMADAN DAY 5 — WHEN WE FORGET, ALLAH DOESN’T
Sometimes you didn’t mean to.
Sometimes it slipped your mind.
Sometimes you genuinely tried… and still got it wrong.
And Allah, in His mercy, gave us this powerful du’a:
رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا
Rabbana laa tu’aakhiznaa in naseenaa aw akhta’naa
“Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we forget or err.” (Qur’an 2:286)
This is Islam’s beauty.
Allah acknowledges human weakness.
You will forget.
You will make mistakes.
You will fall short.
But Ramadan reminds us return immediately.
Don’t let Shaytan convince you that one mistake ruins everything.
Don’t let guilt push you away from Allah.
Instead, let it push you back to Him.
Today, ask Allah to overlook your unintentional faults.
Ask Him to pardon your forgetfulness.
Ask Him to replace your errors with mercy.
Because the One who created you understands you.
May Allah forgive our mistakes, intentional and unintentional, and accept our fast. Ameen
