SPIRITUAL DIGEST: RAMADAN DAY 4 (A SUPPLICATION FROM SURAH AL-BAQARAH 2:250)
Some battles are external.
Some battles are within you.
Today’s du’a teaches us what to ask for in both.
Arabic:
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Transliteration:
Rabbana afrigh ‘alayna sabran wa thabbit aqdaamana wansurna ‘alal qawmil kaafireen.
Translation:
“Our Lord, pour upon us patience, make our steps firm, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people.”
This powerful supplication was made at a moment of fear and confrontation. Yet before asking for victory, they asked for patience.
Because patience comes before firmness.
And firmness comes before victory.
Ramadan teaches us that real strength is not loud it is steady. It is remaining calm when tested. It is standing firm when challenged. It is choosing discipline over impulse.
Today, ask Allah to pour patience into your heart and make your steps firm upon His guidance.
May this Ramadan build unshakable faith within us. Ameen. 🌙
