DO EVERYTHING WITH EXCELLENCE
How do you do things when nobody is checking?
Do you give your best, or do you only work hard when someone is watching?
Islam teaches Muslims to develop excellence and sincerity in what they do.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed, Allah has prescribed excellence (ihsan) in everything.” — Sahih Muslim
This teaches us that excellence should become part of our character.
DON’T BE CARELESS WITH YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
If you are a student, take your studies seriously.
If you are given an assignment, do it properly.
If your parents give you a responsibility, try to fulfil it well.
If you are learning a skill, practice.
If you are helping someone, don’t deliberately do a careless job.
Your effort matters.
DO IT FOR ALLAH
Excellence does not mean trying to be better than everyone else.
It means giving your best because you know Allah sees you.
You may not receive praise.
Your teacher may not notice.
Your parents may not see how hard you worked.
Your friends may not care.
But Allah knows.
That should be enough motivation to do what you can with sincerity.
DON’T WAIT TO BECOME AN ADULT
Excellence is a habit you can build while young.
Be punctual.
Keep your word.
Complete your work.
Take care of your belongings.
Treat people properly.
Learn from your mistakes.
Keep improving.
HEART CHECK
Dear young Muslim, don’t make laziness your personality. Whatever good responsibility Allah has placed before you, approach it with sincerity and excellence. Do your best—even when nobody is watching.
