SEEK KNOWLEDGE AND KEEP WALKING
What if every step you take towards learning something beneficial is also bringing you closer to Allah?
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever follows a path in which he seeks knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.”
— Sahih Muslim
This hadith shows us the incredible value of seeking beneficial knowledge.
YOUR YOUTH IS A TIME TO LEARN
Don’t think Islamic knowledge is only for scholars.
Every young Muslim needs to learn.
Learn how to pray correctly.
Learn about your faith.
Study the Qur’an.
Learn about the life of the Prophet ﷺ.
Understand what is halal and haram.
Ask questions when you don’t understand.
And don’t be embarrassed to say: “I don’t know.”
Not knowing something is not shameful.
Refusing to learn when you have the opportunity is what we should be concerned about.
KNOWLEDGE SHOULD CHANGE YOU
Knowledge is not simply about collecting information.
If you learn about kindness, become kinder.
If you learn about Salah, protect your prayers.
If you learn about honesty, become more honest.
If you learn about Allah, let that knowledge increase your obedience and love for Him.
KEEP GOING
Sometimes learning can feel difficult.
You may struggle to memorize Qur’an.
You may not understand a lesson immediately.
You may forget what you learned.
Don’t give up.
Take one step at a time.
Read one page.
Learn one hadith.
Understand one verse.
Ask one sincere question.
Small steps can become a great journey.
HEART CHECK
Dear young Muslim, never stop learning. Every sincere step you take seeking beneficial knowledge is a step worth taking.
