A BELIEVER’S EMERGENCY PLAN FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS OF RAMADAN
Not everyone had the Ramadan they planned.
Some started strong and became weak. Others struggled from the beginning. Some are only now waking up to the reality that the month is almost gone.
But here is the truth: as long as you are still breathing, your opportunity is still alive.
These last two days are not for regret they are for action. This is your emergency plan to finish Ramadan strong, no matter how it started.
Start with a sincere reset. Sit down for a moment and speak to Allah honestly. Admit your shortcomings, your distractions, your inconsistency. Not with despair, but with humility. A broken heart in front of Allah is more valuable than a perfect routine done without sincerity.
Next, prioritise your obligations. Guard your five daily prayers carefully and pray them on time. If possible, add the Sunnah prayers around them. This is your foundation. No extra act can replace what is obligatory, so secure this first.
Then, build a simple but focused night routine. You do not need something complicated. Pray at least two units of night prayer after ‘Isha. If you can do more, increase gradually. Take your time in sujood and speak to Allah in your own words. These quiet moments could be the most transformative part of your Ramadan.
Make Qur’an a daily priority, even if time is short. Instead of aiming for large portions, aim for presence. Read slowly. Reflect on what you can understand. Even a few pages read with attention can be more impactful than rushing through many.
Increase your dua intentionally. Don’t just repeat general supplications—be specific. Ask Allah for forgiveness for your sins, guidance in your life, barakah in your work, and acceptance of your Ramadan. Ask for Jannah. Ask to be saved from the Hellfire. These are not small things they are everything.
Give charity before Ramadan ends. It does not have to be large. What matters is sincerity. A small act done in these final days could be multiplied beyond imagination, especially if it falls on Laylatul Qadr.
Also, clear your heart. If you are holding grudges, take steps to let go. Forgive people, even if they have not apologised. This is not about them it is about your standing with Allah. A clean heart is one of the greatest acts of worship.
Reduce distractions aggressively. These two days are not for excessive social media, entertainment, or idle talk. Be intentional with your time. Every hour matters now more than ever.
And finally, end with consistency, not exhaustion. Do what you can sustain over these last days rather than overwhelming yourself and stopping halfway. Steady, sincere effort is beloved to Allah.
Remember, Allah does not judge your Ramadan by its beginning alone. A powerful ending can outweigh a weak start. A sincere return in the final moments can change everything.
Do not underestimate what you can still achieve in two days. For Allah, it is more than enough to transform your record completely.Ramadan may be ending, but your journey should not.
