SPIRITUAL DIGEST: RAMADAN DAY 15 , ALLAH DOES NOT BURDEN A SOUL BEYOND ITS CAPACITY

“RABBANAA WA LAA TUHAMMILNAA MAA LAA TAAQATA LANAA BIHI…”

(Surah Al-Baqarah 2:286)

“Our Lord! Lay not on us that burden which we have not the strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelieving people.”

Reflection

Day 15  we are halfway through Ramadan.

This beautiful du’a from Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286) reminds us of Allah’s mercy and understanding. He does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear. Whatever you are facing fatigue, emotional struggles, financial pressure, spiritual weakness  Allah already knows your capacity.

But notice something powerful in this verse:

We are taught to ask for three things:

  • Pardon (erase the sin),
  • Forgiveness (cover the sin),
  • Mercy (replace it with goodness).

Ramadan is not just about staying away from food — it is about returning to Allah with humility and full dependence on Him.

If it feels heavy, make this du’a often today.

Today’s Reminder

You are stronger than you think because Allah is your Helper.

Keep going. The last half of Ramadan carries immense reward.

May Allah lighten our burdens, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us victory over our struggles. Ameen.
