Zaria – Sheikh Usman Idris, popularly known as “Rigi-Rigi,” a respected Islamic scholar in Zaria, has passed away at the age of 57. He died in the early hours of Monday at a private hospital in Kaduna after a brief illness.
Sheikh Usman, widely known for his Islamic teachings, had gained a substantial following on social media platforms, including TikTok, where he shared religious guidance and insights with thousands of followers.
He is survived by four wives, 37 children, and numerous grandchildren.
The funeral prayer for Sheikh Usman Idris has been scheduled to hold in Kusfa, Zaria City, at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
