Who Is Al-Quddūs?
Al-Quddūs means The Absolutely Pure, The Most Holy, The One entirely free from imperfection.
Everything in creation has flaws. But Allah unlike His creation is free from error, injustice, forgetfulness, weakness, and need. He is completely sacred, entirely perfect, and beyond the reach of human flaws.
“Whatever is in the heavens and earth glorifies Allah the Sovereign, the Pure, the Almighty, the Wise.”
(Surah Al-Jumu‘ah 62:1)
Reflection: When the World Feels Heavy
Sometimes we feel spiritually messy. The world feels impure. We struggle with sins, doubts, and inner dirt we can’t name let alone clean.
That’s when we remember: Allah is Al-Quddūs.
✨ He is not only pure He purifies.
✨ He doesn’t expect you to be spotless before coming to Him.
✨ He invites you as you are, to cleanse your heart, soul, and path.
Action Step: Let Al-Quddūs Purify You

Repent sincerely. Tawbah is the spiritual soap for the soul.

Purify your intentions. Ask yourself: “Is this for Allah?”

Clean your heart. Let go of envy, pride, resentment.

Maintain outer purity. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Purity is half of faith.” (Muslim)
Duʿā to Al-Quddūs (Short & Powerful)
Yā Quddūs,
Purify my heart from sin,
my intentions from pride,
and my life from anything that distances me from You.
Āmīn. 🤍
Remember:
Al-Quddūs doesn’t turn away the impure.
He purifies the one who seeks Him.
Say: “Yā Quddūs” —
With need. With love. With hope that His mercy will cleanse what this world could never reach.
