HAJJ 2025: LAGOS JOINS NAHCON AND OTHER STATES TO INSPECT TENTS IN MINA AND ARAFAH

Representatives of Lagos State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, on Tuesday, joined officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and other State Muslim Pilgrims Boards to inspect facilities available in the Muna and Arafah tents in preparation for the main Hajj rites.

 

The Lagos State team led by Chairman, Muna and Arafah sub-committee, Imam (Engr.) Shakiru Ayinde Gafar expressed satisfaction with the tents allocated to the State in the Mashaer.

 

While disclosing that Lagos State and NAHCON were jointly allocated tent number 162 by the service provider, Ekram Aldyf Company, he added that there were a lot of improvements in the facilities provided in the tents aimed at making the stay of the pilgrims remarkable and comfortable to perform the Hajj rituals in Muna and Arafah.

 

Recall that as the main Hajj rites will begin on Wednesday, June 4 which is the 8th Dhul-Hijjah, the twelfth month in the Islamic calendar, pilgrims are expected to proceed from Makkah to Muna, Muna to Arafah and back to Muna where they will stay till the twelfth day to perform the necessary Hajj rituals in accordance with the Quranic injunctions.
