Authorities of the two Holy Masjids in Saudi Arabia has described as false, a message being shared on social media that the haram in Mecca will be opened to the public from Ramadan 8th.
In a tweet from their official handle; @haramaininfo said “it has come to our attention that a hoax Ministry Hajj & Umrah statement has been shared around multiple times with a false Umrah Opening Date. Umrah as of current, remains suspended.”
The statement said that the suspension of prayers for general public is still in effect.
