The plan will go into effect on May 9, the first day of the holy month of Dhul-Qdah, and it will stay in effect until all of the pilgrims have arrived.

In order to efficiently serve all passengers, this will entail the complete operation of all airport lounges, including Terminal 1, the North Terminal, and the Hajj and Umrah lounge complex, according to a regular schedule of arrivals and departures throughout the season.

Over 411 platforms for passport procedures, 440 for luggage check-in, 56 loading bridges, 54 customs inspection devices, 29 luggage conveyor belts, 28 bus gates, and four health facilities were all present in the three halls, according to Johar. Additionally, group luggage is handled at two locations.

At King Abdulaziz International Airport, there will be about 16,000 workers from a variety of operational, security, and governmental sectors during peak hours. Everyone is dedicated to helping travelers and arranging processes during their spiritual journey.
