THE DAY JIBRIL (AW) CAME: THE BEGINNING OF A GREAT MISSION

The Cave of Hira became the place where one of the greatest moments in human history began.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW)was there when the Angel Jibril (AS) came to him with the command:

“Read.”

The Prophet (SAW) replied that he could not read.

Jibril (AS) repeated the command, and then the opening verses of Surah Al-‘Alaq were revealed.

This was the beginning of the revelation that would eventually become the Qur’an.

But imagine what happened next.

The Prophet (SAW) returned home frightened and asked Khadijah (RA)to cover him.

This teaches us something important.

Being afraid does not mean you are weak.

Even the Messenger of Allah (SAW) experienced fear during this extraordinary event.

What mattered was what happened afterward.

Allah supported him. Khadijah (RA) comforted him. And he continued with the mission Allah had given him.

WHAT CAN YOUTH LEARN?

1. Fear does not mean you have failed.

You can feel afraid and still do what is right.

2. Learning is important.

The first revealed command was connected to reading and knowledge.

3. Have people who support your faith.

Khadijah (RA) supported the Prophet  during one of the most frightening moments of his life.

4. Great responsibilities can begin with unexpected moments.

You may not know what Allah is preparing you for.

HEART CHECK

The first revelation marked the beginning of a mission that would transform the world. It reminds every young Muslim: Never underestimate what Allah can accomplish through someone who is willing to obey Him.
