You don’t need to have the same timeline as your friends.
Some people discover their purpose early.
Others take longer.
Some people know what career they want.
Others try different paths before finding what suits them.
Some marry young.
Others marry later.
Some become financially stable quickly.
Others need more time.
Your timeline is not a competition.
DON’T LET COMPARISON STEAL YOUR PEACE
Social media can make it look as though everyone has their life together.
But you are seeing people’s highlights—not their entire lives.
You may be comparing your ordinary Tuesday to someone’s biggest achievement.
Don’t allow that comparison to make you feel worthless.
KEEP MOVING FORWARD
Not having everything figured out doesn’t mean you should stop trying.
Learn.
Work.
Pray.
Make plans.
Seek advice.
Try new things.
Make mistakes.
Learn from them.
And keep turning to Allah.
You don’t need to know exactly where you will be five or ten years from now.
You just need to ask: “What can I do today that will bring me closer to the person Allah wants me to become?”
YOUR FUTURE IS WITH ALLAH
Make plans, but don’t become obsessed with controlling every detail.
Make du’a.
Put in effort.
Then trust Allah with what you cannot control.
You are still growing.
You are still learning.
You are still discovering your strengths.
HEART CHECK
Don’t punish yourself because you haven’t arrived yet, take the next step, then the next and keep your hopes connected to Allah.
Your life doesn’t have to make complete sense today.
