Allah reminds us of the beautiful supplication made by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son Ismail (AS):
“Our Lord! Make us Muslims in submission to You, and from our descendants a Muslim nation in submission to You…” (Al-Baqarah 2:128)
This dua teaches us that faith is not only about ourselves; it is also about the generations that come after us. True success is not just living as a Muslim today, but leaving behind a legacy of people who continue to worship Allah sincerely.
As we enter the last stretch of Ramadan, it is the perfect time to pray not only for our forgiveness, but also for the guidance of our families, children, and future generations.
Ask Allah to make your home a place of faith, remembrance, and obedience. A righteous legacy is one of the greatest gifts a believer can leave behind.
