DAILY DIGEST: RAMADAN DAY 12, REFLECTING ON THE PURPOSE OF CREATION
Ramadan is a time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the deeper meaning of our existence. It reminds believers that nothing Allah created is without purpose. Every moment, every test, and every blessing carries wisdom and calls us back to Him.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“Rabbanaa maa khalaqta haadha baatilan subhaanaka wa qinaa adhaaban-naar.”
(Surah Aal-Imran 3:191)
Meaning:
“Our Lord! You have not created all this in vain. Glory be to You. Save us, Lord, from the torment of the Blazing Fire.”
This powerful supplication reflects the mindset of sincere believers — those who reflect deeply on the signs of Allah in the heavens and the earth. They recognize that life is not meaningless. Every breath is an opportunity to worship Allah, seek His pleasure, and prepare for the Hereafter.
Ramadan strengthens this awareness. Fasting teaches discipline, prayer builds connection, and reflection increases certainty. When believers understand that their existence has purpose, they become more mindful of their actions, more grateful for their blessings, and more focused on attaining Allah’s mercy.
Reflection:
Nothing in your life is random. Your struggles, patience, growth, and even your waiting have purpose. Use this Ramadan to realign your heart with the One who created you with wisdom.
Dua:
May Allah make us among those who reflect on His signs, live with purpose, and are protected from the punishment of Fire.
