NAHCON RELEASES KEY DEADLINES FOR 2026 HAJJ OPERATIONS
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced crucial deadlines for the successful organization of the 2026 Hajj exercise.
According to the timeline, remittance remains the most important milestone, with a strict deadline set for 8th October, 2025. Stakeholders and intending pilgrims are urged to ensure all necessary payments and financial commitments are completed before this date to avoid disruptions.
In November 2025, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will take place, marking the formal commencement of bilateral agreements for the Hajj season.
By 4th January, 2026, camp booking payments and confirmation of service contract packages are expected to be finalized. This step will secure accommodation and related services for Nigerian pilgrims.
Furthermore, by 1st February, 2026, all transport and accommodation contracts must be uploaded on the Saudi Nusuk Masar Portal, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and smooth coordination of logistics.
NAHCON emphasizes that meeting these deadlines is vital to guarantee a seamless and well-organized Hajj for Nigerian pilgrims in 2026.
