SPIRITUAL DIGEST: RAMADAN DAY 2 (A DU’A FROM SURAH AL-BAQARAH)

By: Ajape Sefiu A., Adedeji Monsurat A.

Our Spiritual Digest for the second day of Ramadan is another beautiful supplication derived from the Qur’an, Surah Al-Baqarah (2:128).

This du’a was made by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his son, Prophet Ismail (AS) while they were building the Kaaba in Makkah.

It is a powerful supplication asking for guidance, submission to Allah, and the purification of their descendants.

Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You, and [raise] from our descendants a nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of Repentance, the Merciful.
