BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WATCH — YOUR HEART IS BEING FORMED

What you watch repeatedly can begin to feel normal.

A video appears.

You watch it.

Another one comes.

You watch again.

After a while, things that once shocked you may no longer bother you.

This is why a young Muslim must learn to protect not only their eyes, but also their heart.

Allah says: “Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart—about all those [one] will be questioned.” — Qur’an 17:36

Your eyes are a blessing from Allah.

But what you choose to look at matters.

YOUR PHONE CAN TAKE YOU CLOSER TO ALLAH OR FURTHER AWAY

The internet contains beneficial knowledge, Qur’an recitations, Islamic reminders, educational content and opportunities to learn.

But it also contains things that can damage your iman and character.

Not everything that is trending deserves your attention.

Not every video needs to be watched.

Not every account deserves a follow.

Not every challenge needs to be joined.

HEART CHECK

PROTECT YOUR HEART : Ask yourself:

“What am I feeding my heart every day?”

If you spend hours watching content filled with vulgarity, mockery, hatred and things Allah has forbidden, don’t be surprised if those things begin to affect your heart.
