Before revelation, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would retreat to the Cave of Hira, away from the noise and practices of Makkah.
He would spend time in solitude and reflection. Then, at the age of forty, the first revelation came to him through Angel Jibril عليه السلام.

We live in a world that never seems to become quiet.

Messages keep coming.
Trends change every day.
Everyone seems to have something to say.
Sometimes, young people become so surrounded by noise that they rarely stop to think about their relationship with Allah.
WHAT CAN YOUTH LEARN?
1. Make time for quiet reflection.
You don’t need to spend hours alone. Even a few minutes away from your phone can give you time to think and remember Allah.
2. Don’t let social media occupy your entire mind.
Your heart needs rest from constant entertainment.
3. Think about your purpose.
Ask yourself: Why am I here? What kind of Muslim am I becoming? Where am I heading?
4. Get comfortable with being alone sometimes.
Being alone is not always loneliness. Sometimes solitude gives you an opportunity to reconnect with Allah.

The world constantly tells young people to stay connected, but sometimes, you need to disconnect from the noise so you can reconnect with Allah. Find moments of quiet. Remember Allah. Reflect on your life. Protect your heart.
