YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE FAMOUS TO BE USEFUL
You don’t need millions of followers, you don’t need to be rich, you don’t need to have a big organization, you can benefit people right where you are. Help your mother at home.
Teach your younger sibling something you know, help a classmate understand a difficult topic, share beneficial knowledge.
Visit someone who is sick, encourage a friend who is struggling, give someone good advice even helping someone carry something can be an act of kindness.
ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTIONS
If I disappeared from someone’s life today, what good thing would they miss about me?
Would they miss your encouragement? Your kindness? Your help? Your advice? Your smile? Your prayers for them?
Or would they simply feel relieved that you are gone? That question may be uncomfortable, but it is worth thinking about.
LIVE A LIFE THAT BENEFITS OTHERS
Your youth is an opportunity. Don’t spend all of it chasing attention, likes and approval. Use your time, knowledge, skills and energy to make a positive difference. Be the person who helps instead of mocks, builds instead of destroys.
Encourages instead of discourages. and gives instead of always taking.
