MULAN PRESIDENT: MURIC CONGRATULATES HASSAN FAJIMITE

 

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has congratulated Barrister Hassan Fajimite on his election as the President of the Muslim Lawyers Association (MULAN), describing him as a hardworking, humble, and principled legal practitioner whose dedication to the Muslim community has earned widespread respect.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, and signed by its Founder and Executive Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola, MURIC praised Fajimite’s emergence as a timely development for the association, expressing confidence in his ability to provide effective leadership.

According to the organisation, Fajimite’s election comes at a crucial period for the association and reflects the confidence reposed in his competence, character, and years of service to the legal profession and the Muslim Ummah.

“We congratulate Barrister Hassan Fajimite on this great feat. MULAN could not have found a better leader at this crucial period,” the statement read.

MURIC described the new MULAN president as “a legal luminary of immense standing,” noting that his commitment to justice, humility, and selfless service has distinguished him over the years.

The group also highlighted his contributions to the protection of the rights of Muslims, particularly in South-West Nigeria, where he has played prominent roles in several legal matters affecting the Muslim community.

“Barrister Fajimite is hardworking, humble and an embodiment of integrity. His selflessness knows no bounds. His spirit of sacrifice has no borders, particularly when it comes to service in the course of Islam,” MURIC stated.

The organisation further revealed that Fajimite has earned a special nickname within its ranks because of his unwavering dedication to defending the interests of Muslims through legal advocacy.

“He has been at the forefront of legal battles fought by Muslims in South-West Nigeria. In MURIC, we call him the ‘SAN of the Ummah’,” the statement added.

MURIC concluded by wishing the newly elected MULAN president a successful tenure and expressed optimism that his leadership would strengthen the association’s role in advancing justice, the rule of law, and the protection of the rights of Muslims across Nigeria.
