MURIC OYO STATE CHAPTER CONDOLES MUSLIM COMMUNITY OVER PASSING OF ALHAJA TAWAKALITU ABOSEDE SIYANBADE

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), Oyo State Chapter, has expressed deep sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN), the Chairman of the MUSWEN Property Development Committee, Alhaji Murisiku Abidemi Siyanbade, and the entire Muslim community in Oyo State over the passing of Alhaja Tawakalitu Abosede Siyanbade.

According to a statement issued by the group, Alhaja Tawakalitu Abosede Siyanbade, who was born on August 9, 1960, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the age of 65. She has since been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites.

The organisation described the late Alhaja Siyanbade as a devoted Muslimah, a strong pillar of support within her family, and a respected member of the Muslim community whose life embodied humility, service, and dedication to the growth of Islam.

MURIC noted that her demise is a significant loss not only to her immediate family but also to the wider Muslim Ummah in Oyo State and beyond.

The statement further reflected on the words of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): “Indeed the eyes shed tears and the heart grieves, but we do not say except what pleases our Lord,” describing it as a source of comfort and a reminder of submission to the will of Allah.

The group prayed that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings, grants her Al-Jannatul Firdaus, expands and illuminates her grave, and gives her husband, children, and the entire Muslim community the strength and patience to bear the loss.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.”
