Ramadan is not just a month of fasting; it is a divine appointment with answered prayers. Duʿa in Ramadan carries a special weight, especially while fasting, at ifṭār, in the depths of the night, and during Laylat al-Qadr. This is the month when hearts soften, distractions fade, and words rise swiftly to the heavens.
Below is a carefully curated Ultimate Ramadan Duʿa List meant to guide the tongue, focus the heart, and deepen your connection with Allah throughout the blessed days and nights.
DUʿAS FOR BEGINNING RAMADAN
O Allah, allow us to reach Ramadan and help us fast its days and stand in prayer during its nights with īmān and sincerity. Accept it from us and grant us its full reward.
DUʿAS WHILE FASTING
O Allah, for You I fasted, in You I believe, upon You I rely, and with Your provision I break my fast. Accept it from me, for You are All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
DUʿA AT IFTĀR (A MOMENT THAT IS NEVER REJECTED)
The thirst has gone, the veins are quenched, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.
DUʿAS FOR FORGIVENESS
O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, You love to forgive, so forgive me.
O Allah, forgive my past and future sins, what I did openly and secretly, what I know and what I forgot.
DUʿAS FOR MERCY AND GUIDANCE
O Allah, shower us with Your mercy, guide our hearts, correct our affairs, and do not leave us to ourselves even for the blink of an eye.
DUʿAS FOR THE QUR’AN
O Allah, make the Qur’an the spring of our hearts, the light of our chests, the remover of our worries, and the cure for our sadness.
DUʿAS FOR LAYLAT AL-QADR
O Allah, You are Most Pardoning, You love to pardon, so pardon us.
O Allah, grant us the reward of Laylat al-Qadr and write us among those who are freed from the Fire.
DUʿAS FOR THE UMMAH
O Allah, unite the Ummah, ease the suffering of the oppressed, grant victory to the truthful, and replace fear with peace and justice.
DUʿAS FOR PROVISION AND BARAKAH
O Allah, grant us halal provision, place barakah in what You give us, and make us grateful servants who spend in Your cause.
DUʿAS FOR THE HEART
O Allah, purify our hearts from hypocrisy, envy, and pride. Fill them with sincerity, patience, humility, and love for You.
DUʿAS FOR ACCEPTANCE
O Allah, accept our fasting, our prayers, our charity, and our repentance. Do not let this Ramadan pass without our sins being forgiven and our ranks being raised.
Ramadan duʿa does not require perfection in words only sincerity in the heart. Speak to Allah in your own language, with your own tears, hopes, and fears. This month is proof that Allah listens closely.
May this Ramadan be the one where your duʿas change your life, and your heart finds its way back home.
