LAGOS, NIGERIA — In preparation for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage, a consortium of private Hajj and Umrah operators, including Habdat Xpress Travels Limited, Zatim Travels and Tours Limited, 3SixtyIslam, Travel Routers, and other operators hosted a comprehensive seminar aimed at educating and guiding intending pilgrims on the spiritual and logistical dimensions of the sacred journey.
Held over the weekend at Ijaiye Housing Estate Central Mosque in Agege, Lagos, the seminar drew hundreds of prospective pilgrims, scholars, and travel facilitators.
The event featured interactive lectures, video demonstrations, and Q&A sessions, offering participants insights into the rites of Hajj, health and safety guidelines, travel requirements, and spiritual readiness.
In his keynote address, CEO, Habdat Xpress Travels Ltd., emphasized the importance of sincerity and proper knowledge before embarking on the journey of a lifetime. “Hajj is not only a physical journey, it is a test of faith, patience, and devotion,” he said.
In his remarks, Alhaji Abd’Rahaman Leke Yusuf, the Chief Executive Officer of 3SixtyIslam, emphasized the importance of compliance, advising pilgrims to follow all established protocols and heed instructions provided by authorities.
He also offered guidance on health precautions, including managing chronic conditions during Hajj and the importance of vaccinations.
Also speaking at the seminar, Alhaji Mufutau Ishola, Chief Executive Officer of Zatim Travels and Tours Ltd., emphasized the need for pilgrims to arrive early on departure day and cautioned them against forgetting essential travel documents at home.
The seminar further provided practical tutorials on Ihram procedures, Tawaf and Sa’i, and navigating the logistics of Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.
Participants expressed deep appreciation for the initiative. One of the intending pilgrim said, “This seminar has cleared many doubts for me. I now feel more spiritually and mentally prepared for Hajj.”
The event also featured testimonials from past pilgrims, digital resources, and on-site registration desks for those finalizing their Hajj arrangements.
