The spiritual digest for Ramadan day 26 is a supplication from Surah Al-A’raf (7:23).
This powerful dua was made by Prophet Adam (AS) and Hawwa (Eve) after they disobeyed Allah by eating from the forbidden tree in Paradise. Realizing their mistake, they immediately turned to Allah in repentance, acknowledging their sin and seeking His forgiveness and mercy.
Unlike Shaytan (Satan), who was arrogant and refused to repent after disobeying Allah, Adam (AS) showed humility, regret, and submission—qualities that every believer should embody when seeking Allah’s forgiveness.
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ
Rabbanaa ẓalamnaa anfusanaa wa in lam taghfir lanaa wa tarḥamnaa lanakoonanna minal khaasireen
Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls; and if You do not forgive us and have no mercy upon us, we shall certainly be of the losers. (Surah Al-A’raf 7:23)

Acknowledging Our Mistakes – The dua teaches us that self-awareness and admitting our sins is the first step toward true repentance.
