The spiritual digest for the 10th day of Ramadan is a powerful Du’a from Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286).
رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا
Rabbanaa walaa tahmil ‘alainaa isran kamaa hamaltahuu ‘alal ladheena min qablinaa.
Our Lord! Lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us.
This is part of the final verse of Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286), a powerful supplication made by believers asking Allah for mercy and ease. It reflects:
- A plea for relief from overwhelming hardships.
- A recognition of Allah’s justice and mercy, as burdens placed on past nations were sometimes severe due to their actions.

- Divine mercy and support in overcoming hardships.
Virtue of Surah Al-Baqarah 2:286:

Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice him.” (Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim)
