TINUBU MOURNS ISLAMIC SCHOLAR SHEIKH MODIBBO IBRAHIM DAWARE
President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sheikh Modibbo Ibrahim Daware, a revered Islamic scholar from Adamawa State.
A distinguished leader of the Tijjaniyya sect, Sheikh Daware dedicated his life to teaching, guiding, and shaping the minds of countless individuals.
In a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Tinubu praised Sheikh Daware’s humility, piety, and commitment to scholarship, describing his death as a significant loss not only to his family and community but to the entire nation.
“I extend my condolences to the Adamawa State Government, the late cleric’s family, and his followers. May God grant him peace and mercy in the hereafter.
Sheikh Daware’s legacy will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the impact of faith, knowledge, and selfless service to humanity,” the President states.
