ISLAMIC WOMEN ORGANISATION ANNOUNCES DATE FOR ANNUAL DA’WAH PROGRAM
An Islamic women’s organization, Al-Imra’atus Soliha, has officially announced the date for its highly anticipated 25th Annual Da’wah Program, aimed at promoting spiritual balance and the core teachings of Islam.
The event, which attracts hundreds of attendees every year, is scheduled to take place daily from December 23, 2024, to January 1, 2025, at Olohun Gbebe Mi Central mosque, Eyinle Community, Lucky Fiber, Ikorodu, Lagos.
The development was communicated in a statement co-signed by Hajia Hafsat Shidi, Ameera, Al-Imra’atus Soliha and Basirat Onasanya, Chairperson, Organising Committee.
The Da’wah program which is an offshoot of the 114 Islamic Vacation Course of the MSSN, B- Zone, will feature a variety of activities, including Qu’raan memorization, Qu’raan competition, vocational training, tafseer, quizzes, games and drama.
This year’s theme, “The Quest for Spiritual Balance,” emphasizes the importance of deepening faith.
The event will also highlight the role of Da’wah (Islamic outreach) in fostering dialogue and cooperation between people of different backgrounds.
The organizers are encouraging all Muslims, as well as individuals interested in learning more about Islam, to participate in this enriching experience.
In addition to the enlightening discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and deepen their understanding of Islam’s message of peace and goodwill.
The Annual Da’wah Program is expected to be an enriching experience for all participants, and the organizers are hopeful it will inspire many to deepen their knowledge and practice of Islam while promoting peace and understanding across communities.
