1UMMAH ANNOUNCES DATE FOR ANNUAL CONVENTION, MUFTI MENK, OTHER SCHOLARS TO GRACE EVENT

An esteemed Islamic organisation, 1Ummah, has announced the date for its Annual Peace and Unity Convention.

According to the Islamic group in a statement on Monday, this year event will take place on 16th of November, 2024, at the Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.

This year’s theme, “Resilience and Recovery: The Role of Faith and Reliance in Navigating Crisis,” will feature the world-renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Ismail Menk, along with two other distinguished Islamic scholars, Dr. Yasir Qadhi and Sheikh Ammar AlShukry.

The statement partly reads, “1Ummah, an esteemed Islamic organization dedicated to fostering understanding and community well-being, is thrilled to announce its Annual Peace and Unity Convention, scheduled for November 16, 2024, at the Eko Hotel Convention Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.

“This year’s theme, “Resilience and Recovery: The Role of Faith and Reliance in Navigating Crisis,” aims to empower participants as they navigate the challenges of our modern world through the lens of faith.

”Since 2016, the convention has been a key event for spiritual enrichment and community connection. This year features esteemed Islamic scholars including Sheik Yasir Qadhi and Mufti Ismail Menk and a host of others who will share insights on resilience.

”The convention will offer family-friendly activities, including dedicated programming for children that promotes teamwork and creativity.
