Have you ever wanted to talk to someone about what you are going through but couldn’t find the right person?
Maybe you were hurt.
Maybe you were confused about your future.
Maybe you were carrying something you didn’t want anyone else to know.
There is something beautiful about knowing that you can turn to Allah at any moment.
You don’t need a perfect speech.
You don’t need complicated words.
You simply need sincerity.
ALLAH KNOWS WHAT IS IN YOUR HEART
Allah already knows what you are feeling before you say it.
He knows the tears you hide.
He knows the questions you are afraid to ask.
He knows what you want, what you fear and what you are struggling with.
Allah says: “And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of every supplicant when he calls upon Me.”
(Qur’an 2:186)
What an incredible reminder.
Allah is near.
YOU CAN TELL ALLAH EVERYTHING
You can make dua about your studies.
Your family.
Your future.
Your marriage.
Your friendships.
Your mistakes.
Your dreams.
Your fears.
You can ask Allah for something that seems small to everyone else but means a lot to you.
And when you don’t know exactly what to say, simply be honest.
“Ya Allah, I don’t know what to do.”
“Ya Allah, please help me.”
“Ya Allah, I am struggling.”
“Ya Allah, bring me closer to You.”
These words may be simple, but sincerity matters.
DON’T ONLY TALK TO ALLAH WHEN LIFE IS DIFFICULT
Make dua when you are happy too.
Thank Allah for what is going well.
Tell Him about the blessings you are enjoying.
Ask Him to protect your family and keep your heart firm.
The more you turn to Allah in ordinary moments, the easier it becomes to turn to Him during difficult ones.
Your relationship with Allah should not only exist when you need something.
Talk to Allah because He is your Lord.
