THE MOST POWERFUL DUAS TO RECITE IN THE LAST 10 NIGHTS OF RAMADAN

The last ten nights of Ramadan are the most precious nights of the entire year. These nights carry immense mercy, forgiveness, and the opportunity to witness Laylatul Qadr  a night that is better than a thousand months.

During these nights, believers increase their worship, stand in prayer, recite the Qur’an, and most importantly, raise their hands in sincere supplication. Dua is one of the greatest acts of worship because it is a direct conversation between a servant and their Lord.

Allah loves when His servants call upon Him with humility and hope.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged Muslims to make abundant dua during these blessed nights. These moments may be among the most powerful opportunities in the year for prayers to be accepted.

Here are some powerful duas that believers should recite during the last ten nights of Ramadan.

1. The Dua for Laylatul Qadr

This is the most famous supplication taught by the Prophet specifically for the Night of Decree. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Prophet what she should say if she finds Laylatul Qadr, and he replied:

“Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni.”

Meaning:
“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive, so forgive me.”

This simple but powerful dua focuses on seeking Allah’s forgiveness, which is one of the greatest gifts a believer can receive.

2. Asking Allah for Guidance

A believer should constantly ask Allah to guide their heart and keep them firm upon faith.

“Allahumma ihdini wa saddidni.”

Meaning:
“O Allah, guide me and keep me steadfast.”

Guidance is one of the greatest blessings a person can receive in this life.

3. Dua for Mercy and Protection

Every believer hopes to receive Allah’s mercy and protection from punishment.

“Allahumma inni as’aluka al-jannah wa a’udhu bika min an-nar.”

Meaning:
“O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and seek refuge in You from the Fire.”

This dua reminds us of the ultimate goal of our worship.

4. Dua for Forgiveness of All Sins

Seeking forgiveness is especially important during these final nights.

“Allahumma ighfir li dhunubi kullaha, diqqaha wa jillaha.”

Meaning:
“O Allah, forgive all my sins, the small and the great.”

Sincere repentance during these nights can erase years of mistakes.

5. Personal Duas from the Heart

While these beautiful supplications are recommended, believers should also speak to Allah in their own words. Ask for what you truly need  whether it is guidance, strength, peace, success, or forgiveness.

Allah knows what is in every heart, and He loves when His servants turn to Him sincerely.

The last ten nights of Ramadan are a precious gift that should never be taken lightly. Within these nights lies the possibility of Laylatul Qadr  a moment when prayers can be accepted and lives can be changed.

Raise your hands. Speak to Allah with sincerity. Ask Him for the best in this life and the hereafter.

Because the dua you make tonight could be the one that changes your destiny forever.
