EDUCATION DISTRICT || HOSTS 19TH ANNUAL RAMADAN LECTURE AND COMMISSIONS NEW DISTRICT MOSQUE
Education District II successfully held its 19th Annual Ramadan Lecture today, offering a spiritually enriching and intellectually stimulating gathering for educators, students, and government officials.
The event, organized by the Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary (TG/PS), Mrs. Anike Adekanye, featured a thought-provoking lecture by Worldwide Missioner, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Ahmad, on the theme “Attaining and Managing Success.”
In her opening remarks, Mrs. Adekanye expressed gratitude to Allah for the numerous awards and accolades the district has received during her tenure. She emphasized the importance of striving for success in every aspect of life. “Success doesn’t come easily. It’s the result of hard work and consistency. The success we have achieved needs to be managed and maintained. That’s the essence of today’s lecture, and Sheikh will provide valuable insights on this,” she stated.
She also reiterated the district’s commitment to a holistic approach to education that blends moral, spiritual, and intellectual growth. Mrs. Adekanye expressed her optimism that the event would have a lasting impact on attendees, reinforcing the importance of both knowledge and faith within Education District II.
