LOVE WITHOUT LOSING ALLAH
Love is one of the strongest emotions a person can experience, especially during youth. It can bring happiness, excitement and hope. But love can also become a test.
Today, many young people are taught that if you truly love someone, you should be willing to do anything for them. Islam teaches something different: **real love should never make you lose your relationship with Allah.**
A person who genuinely cares for you will respect your values, your modesty and your deen. Love should bring you closer to what is good, not lead you towards what Allah has forbidden.
Allah says: “But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah.” — Qur’an 2:165
This verse reminds us that our greatest love should always be for Allah. When Allah is at the centre of our lives, our decisions become wiser and our relationships become healthier.
Young Muslims should remember that emotions are natural, but emotions should be guided by faith. Protect your heart, guard your boundaries and seek what is halal.
The strongest relationships are not those built only on feelings. They are built on respect, trust, good character and a shared desire to please Allah.
HEART CHECK
You do not have to choose between love and your deen. Choose love that honours your deen. Choose relationships that strengthen your faith and never lose Allah while searching for love, because the heart that stays connected to Allah will never truly be lost.
