ARE YOU FEEDING YOUR BODY BUT STARVING YOUR SOUL?

We eat breakfast. We drink water. We buy snacks. We think about what we will eat later.

But how often do we ask:

“What am I feeding my soul?”

You can have a full stomach and still have an empty heart.

You can spend hours watching videos, scrolling through social media, chatting with friends and listening to music, yet still feel strangely empty inside.

Why?

Because the soul has needs too.

Your soul needs dhikr.

It needs Qur’an.

It needs salah.

It needs du‘a.

It needs moments of remembering Allah.

As young people, we are constantly consuming content. Every notification gives us something new to look at. But not everything we consume is good for our hearts.

What you repeatedly watch, listen to and think about can influence the person you become.

So today, take a moment to check your spiritual diet.

What have you been feeding your heart?

Fear? Comparison? Envy? Immoral content? Negativity?

Or are you feeding it with Qur’an, beneficial knowledge, good company and remembrance of Allah?

Your body needs food every day.

Your soul needs nourishment too.

HEART CHECK

Give your soul something beneficial today. Read some Qur’an, make dhikr. make sincere du‘a and spend a few minutes away from your phone simply remembering Allah. Don’t let your body be full while your soul remains hungry
