As we approach the final days of Ramadan, our hearts should become more conscious of our faith and the sincerity of our belief. These blessed days remind us to renew our commitment to Allah and to the truth of Islam.
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ
Rabbanaa aamannaa faktubnaa ma‘a ash-shaahideen.
“Our Lord, we have believed; so write us among those who bear witness (to the truth).”
(Qur’an 5:83)
This beautiful supplication reflects the humility and sincerity of true believers. When they recognize the truth of Allah’s message, they respond immediately with faith and submission, asking Allah to include them among those who testify to His truth.
To be among the witnesses of the truth is not merely to claim belief. It means living a life that reflects Islam through honesty, justice, kindness, and sincerity. Our actions should serve as proof of the faith we carry in our hearts.
As we reach the final stretch of Ramadan, it is a time to renew our commitment to the truth of our faith. Let our words, actions, and intentions align with the guidance of Allah and the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ.
