Pilgrims performing ‘Umrah can now move around the Haram with greater ease through the use of electric carts provided within the Grand Mosque. The service is designed to support worshippers, especially those who may find it difficult to walk long distances during the rites.

The full Umrah electric cart service costs 300 Saudi Riyals per person, offering convenient transportation between key ritual points inside the Haram.

Special provisions have also been made to support vulnerable groups. People with disabilities can access the service free of charge, while children under the age of six are also transported at no cost. Senior citizens aged 65 and above are eligible for a 50 percent discount.

Authorities have emphasized that advance booking is required through the Unified Transport Platform to ensure availability and proper scheduling.

The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility, improve comfort, and ensure that all pilgrims can perform their Umrah smoothly and with dignity.
