A SIMPLE DU‘A FOR TONIGHT
As Ramadan approaches, sometimes the most powerful preparation is not a long checklist it is a sincere du‘a.
Tonight, pause for a moment. Raise your hands. Speak with humility.
Allahumma ballighna Ramadan wa a’inna ‘ala siyamihi wa qiyamihi.
“O Allah, allow us to reach Ramadan and help us to fast it and stand in prayer during it.”
This du‘a carries deep meaning.
First, we ask to *reach* Ramadan. That alone is a blessing. Many planned for last Ramadan but never witnessed it. Life is fragile. Every new Ramadan is a mercy and an opportunity.
Then we ask for help to fast it. Fasting is not just hunger and thirst. It is patience, self-control, guarding the tongue, lowering the gaze, and disciplining the heart. Without Allah’s help, even a simple fast can feel heavy.
And we ask for help to stand in prayer. Night prayer requires strength physical and spiritual. It requires sincerity. It requires focus. We are admitting that we cannot do this alone.
This du‘a is short, but it contains humility, awareness, and reliance.
Make it part of your nightly routine in these days before Ramadan. Repeat it after salah. Whisper it before sleep. Let it come from the heart, not just the tongue.
Preparation begins with dependence on Allah.
And if Allah allows you to reach Ramadan and strengthens you within it, perhaps He is also preparing you for something greater a journey to His sacred House.
When you are ready to turn that longing into action, 3SixtyIslam is here to guide you with structured and spiritually focused Hajj and Umrah packages. We handle the planning so you can focus on worship.
May Allah allow us to reach Ramadan in good health, with sincere hearts, ready to grow. Ameen.
