STL-UNCENSORED has announced the Polygyny with Purpose 2026 Conference, a thought-provoking gathering set to hold on Sunday, 8th of February 2026, at 10:00am in Ikeja, Lagos. The conference aims to address the often-overlooked realities of polygyny through informed dialogue, professional insights, and ethical reflection.

With the theme “Compassion, Courage and Commitment: The Realities of Polygyny,” the 2026 edition will focus on unpacking the social, emotional, medical, and mental health dimensions of polygynous family systems in contemporary society.

A major highlight of the conference is the Specialist Panel Session titled “Medical and Mental Health Considerations in Polygyny: What Every Family Should Know.” The session brings together experienced professionals across healthcare, behavioral science, and family sustainability to provide evidence-based perspectives.

Confirmed panelists include Dr. Balogun-Oluwa Olumuyiwa Oludare, a medical practitioner and administrator; Dr. Asmau Hamzah-Sayi from the Behavioral Sciences Department of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital; Mohammed Ademola Ahmed, CEO of BlakMoh Consulting; and Dr. Rasheedah Oke-Olaniyan, a UK-based family sustainability consultant.

The conference is open to married men and women, singles preparing for marriage, counselors and therapists, community leaders, and individuals seeking clarity on polygyny as a family structure.

Attendance options include offline participation at ₦10,000 and online access at ₦5,000, making the event accessible to a wide audience. Venue details will be communicated directly to registered participants.

Organizers say the conference is designed to move beyond stereotypes, encourage responsible conversations, and promote healthier family outcomes rooted in compassion, courage, and commitment.
