SAUDI TRAVEL AGENTS ANNOUNCE NEW 30-DAY VISA VALIDITY OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION PENDING

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Several Saudi travel agents have announced a new policy stating that the validity of travel visas will now be limited to 30 days from the date of issuance. According to the circular currently being shared among Umrah and Hajj operators, any visa not used within 30 days of issuance will be automatically cancelled.
“Effective today, the validity of the visa for travel is only 30 days from the date of issuance. After that, it will be cancelled,” the notice states in Arabic, English, and Urdu.
However, Saudi authorities have not yet released an official statement confirming this update. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) are yet to make any formal clarification on whether this rule applies to all types of travel or Umrah visas.
Travel agencies are advising pilgrims and travelers to proceed with caution, verify their visa validity, and complete travel arrangements promptly to avoid cancellations.
Note: This information is based on communications from Saudi travel agents. An official confirmation from Saudi authorities is still pending.
