THE DOOR THAT NEVER CLOSES: A FRIDAY REMINDER

There are moments when the soul feels distant  when salah becomes routine, the Qur’an feels unfamiliar, and our hearts seem heavy with something we can’t explain. Many of us mistake that emptiness for Allah’s displeasure. But sometimes, that ache is not a sign of rejection  it’s a divine reminder.

It’s Allah calling you back to Him.

He places a subtle discomfort in your chest so you’ll pause and seek the peace you’ve been missing. He takes away the sweetness of dunya pleasures so you’ll remember the sweetness of His remembrance. And He lets your heart feel lost  only so you’ll find your way back home through sujood.

Friday is not just another day; it’s a weekly invitation from your Lord. A reminder that no matter how far you’ve gone, the door to His mercy never closes.

So take a quiet moment today. Recite Surah Al-Kahf. Send salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ. Make that du’a you’ve been putting off. And whisper to Allah what your heart truly needs.

Because on Fridays, the One who listens to every heartbeat is already waiting for yours.
