SILENCE IS ALSO WORSHIP FINDING PEACE IN STILLNESS

Not every act of worship requires words. Sometimes, the most sincere ibadah is found in the quiet moments  when your lips stop moving, but your heart continues to remember Allah.

We often equate spirituality with action  long prayers, loud dhikr, busy service  and while those are all beloved to Allah, He also loves the believer who sits silently, reflecting, feeling His presence in their heart.

Silence can be healing. It allows you to step away from the constant rush of the world and hear what your soul has been whispering all along “I miss my Lord.”

So take time to be still. Turn off the noise, the endless scrolling, the distractions. Sit with yourself and with Allah. Let your thoughts settle like dust after a storm, and let your heart remember the One who gives it peace.

Dhikr doesn’t always need to be loud. Sometimes it’s the quiet Alhamdulillah after hardship. The soft Astaghfirullahafter a mistake. The silent gratitude that fills your chest when you realise Allah carried you through another week.

Because peace isn’t found by running away from life  it’s found when you invite Allah into every part of it.

“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Surah Ar-Ra’d, 13:28)

So sit in that silence. Breathe. Remember. Let your stillness become your worship  because even in quiet hearts, Allah is listening.
